• Ambition: I have had a lot of “ambitions” in life. When I was young, I wanted to become an astronaut. When I reached high school, I wanted to be a lawyer and high school teacher. My mom didn’t want me to become a lawyer and wanted to enroll me in DLSU where there was no Law offered, so I thought I’d take up “BS Education major in Computer Science minor in Mathematics” instead since I also wanted to become a teacher. However, my mom didn’t want me to study Education for the reason that she didn’t want me to become a high school teacher. Since my mom won’t enroll me to college if I insist in taking up BS Education, my mom and I agreed that I’d take up BS Computer Science instead. Now, my ambition is to become free from responsibilities, HAHAHA!
• Dream: I have always dreamed of establishing my own school where I can provide scholarship programs to “gifted” children.. gifted in the sense that they are intelligent kids with bright future ahead of them but their families don’t have enough money to send them to school. I would want that school to offer elementary and secondary (high school) degrees only, for the reason that I believe we have already enough public universities with good academe standards. I would also want to put up some sort of “Shelter for the homeless cats” so I can help give these stray cats some sense of “Family” and “Belongingness”.
• Motto: I have valued intelligence since I was a kid. I have had always dreamed of being top in the class. I’m always amazed whenever I encounter intellectual but humble people. I have always adored my mom because she’s very intelligent and practical, yet very humble. So you see, I do value intelligence and humility very much. My very first motto in life was (I think I was in grade 1 or 2 when I first heard this): “What is beauty if the brain is empty”. Years after that, I have slightly modified that proverb to include Humility: “It’s useless to be brainy if there’s no humility”

Random notes: Ems was tremendously sad when her mother passed away on November 22, 2007 due to Cancer. Her mother means a lot to her and to date, she still misses her mom so much. She perfectly believes and knows that her mother is up there in heaven already and is very, very happy with the Lord right now but she still finds it hard to forget what happened and to just wipe away her tears everytime she remembers her mom. She hopes and prays that someday she will see her mom in heaven and together will have a grand feast and reunion with the Lord
